Vijay: Magnanimous hero
Action hero Vijay agreed to stop the screening of his film Kari Chirathe from Kapali theatre for one day to accommodate Dr. Vishnuvaradhan's film festival Simhavalokana. He was reacting to the issue of holding the Dr. Vishnuvaradhan film festival at Kapali theatre where Vijay's film Kari Chirathe will be playing for the third week at that time.
Dhuniya Vijay was fast in reacting and was full of support for the film festival. The issue of holding the said film festival at the heart of film activities in Gandhinagar was immensely apreciated by Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan. But none of the theatres came forward to offer their theatres. Only Vijay spontaneously reacted and agreed to stop his film for one day to accommodate the festival film. Vijay contacted Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan over telephone and made his offer. For this noble gesture, Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan thanked Vijay for his magnanimity.
