Earlier, there was a buzz that Upendra will be directing both Shivrajkumar and Puneeth in his next movie. But, now the Real Star has put an end to all speculations saying that he is directing neither of them.

Upendra said in a press meet that it was a rumour that he would be directing the Shivanna-Puneeth duo. He also said that he was not planning to direct both even in his near future. Sources state that Upendra is busy penning a script that would go on the floors soon after he completes all his film shoots. The script is expected to be a sequel to Upendra's movie Upendra that was a psychological thriller.

Upendra is currently busy filming for the movie Katari Veera Surasundarangi . His movies Kalpana, Topiwala and Godfather are all set for release this year.
