Acclaimed Tamil director Thyagarajan has bagged the remake rights of the Hindi film Special 26. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, it starred Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
According to reports, he has bagged the remake rights for all the four South Indian languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Also, his son Prashanth will be reprising Akshay Kumar's role in the Tamil remake version, while the lead actors for other languages are yet to be finalised.
However, an official announcement is expected soon.
