Kannada TV serial actress Rachitha Ram (also known as Bindhu), who is well known for her performance in the serial Arasi, is all set to make her Sandalwood debut with Bulbul. She will pair opposite Challenging Star Darshan in the movie. Divya Spandana was expected to play the lead role earlier. But she opted out of the film due to remuneration issues.
Sources state that the shooting for the movie will commence from July 11. Sources also state that Bulbul director M.D. Sridhar was impressed with the acting skills of the young actress.
Bulbul is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Darling which starred Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
