Pooja Gandhi to create awareness on AIDS

Karnataka AIDS Control Board has roped in Pooja Gandhi as the brand ambassador for creating awareness on HIV and AIDS. Pooja's voice will explain about the precautions and other details on HIV and AIDS on Airtel and Reliance mobile phones. It starts: "Halo, Naanu Pooja Gandhi Mathadtha iddene.." (Hello I am Pooja Gandhi). The message that Pooja Gandhi gives on mobile phones is, "Have you checked for AIDS infection? If not, go to the nearest health centre and protect yourself from AIDS."

Interestingly Ramya already appeared in a film on AIDS Prarambha. Superstar Upendra, cricketers Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid are also part of the campaign.
