The sad demise of Bollywood's brightest gems, filmmaker Yash Chopra, seems to have dimmed the lives of everyone, who is a part of Bollywood.

Known for his films like Silsila and Chandni, is it said that Yash ji had given romance a new definition. Like many stars, Vidya Balan too grew up watching his films. Fondly remembering her memories with this legend, Vidya said that he was the most gracious man she had every come across. She says only a few have able to capture the hopeless complexity of the man -woman relationship like Yashji has. She remember how she happened to miss a call from London, after the release of her film, Kahaani. But a message that followed after that, brightened up the actress. The message was non other than Yash ji's. The message read as “I'm trying to call you.” excited, the actress called him back immediately, only to hear him appreciated her for her film. This sounds like the best-est day in Vidya's life.

Apparently, the film-maker has always called her, whether to wish her for her birthday or congratulate her for a film or even be it, if the actress was sick.

Not fortunate enough to have worked with him, Vidya wishes for his soul to rest in peace!
