Ash: India's most valuable actor in Hollywood
Can you ever edge out the Khans of Bollywood? Impossible, you think? Well, you can actually do it if you are Aishwarya Rai, the international face of India. Yes! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan edged out all the Khans of Bollywood in a Forbes' survey on Hollywood's 'Most Valuable' stars. Ash is ranked as the highest and most bankable Indian actor in Hollywood.
In the Forbes survey voted by industry insiders, about 1400 actors are listed as Hollywood's 'Most Valuable' Actors. Though Aishwarya ranks only in 387th position, she tops the list of Indian talent making it big in Hollywood. Other Bollywood stars ranked in the list are Kal Penn (of The Namesake), Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan. Kal Penn ranks next to Ash with 476th rank, followed by Aamir Khan in 540th position, Shahrukh (735), Salman (753), Irrfan (825) and Hrithik (1,059).
The list was topped by Will Smith, who, Forbes' reports say, can really “mine gold” in Hollywood. Smith got a ten-on-ten score followed by four Hollywood stars insecond position – Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Leonardo Di Caprio and Angelina Jolie.Next in line are Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholoson.
