It is not a triangular love story as everyone is trying to say. It is two different guys in love with two different girls. So where is the triangle, is everybody losing their sense of geometry or symmetry or whatever, let's get down to business!

Anbu and Arun are two inseparable friends. The not-so-well-to-do Anbu is indebted to his wealthy friend Arun who has given him everything from education to future to life, almost everything. (Hard though to find such friends in reality).

Anbu is in love with a girl called Kavitha, who happens to have a friend called Kausalya. So Arun decides to fall in love with Kausalya who is blessed with the art of writing interesting letters. But wait, Arun and Kausalya haven't seen each other though they seem to have fallen in love (Ding Dong: Am I having a deja-vu?

And now since if everything goes perfect we can't have a story going on, the twist starts here. Arun who belongs to the bomb squad suffers serious injuries in the Coimbatore bomb explosion. As his last death wish he tells his beloved friend Anbu that he wants to see the love of his life which he has never seen. (Oh it's Kausalya - the love of Arun's life, in case you are not following). But to add to the building miseries Kausalya gets killed by her maternal unlce. In his mission to fulfill his friend's last death wish, Anbu persuades his lover Kavitha to impersonate the dead Kausalya. And bingo! miraculously to the amusement of the doctors, medical science, the lovers and us (well not actually us, we kind of guess it pretty much after seeing so many tamil movies), so finally Arun remains to live. But now the lovers Anbu and Kavitha are in a tight corner situation where they cannot disclose the truth because of Arun's emotionally and physically weak condition. And then what happens? What do you expect us to give everything?
