For the first time the unit of Ragasiyamai has gone and shot their film in the Earthquake devastated village of Adhoi in Gujarat. The film has Prasanna and Neelan Singh in the lead. Neelan Singh who is a popular model in Mumbai is a known face to the people of Gujarath. And in the last fifty years no one has gone there for a film shooting. This place is near the port and hence we selected this place to shoot our climax. Everyday thousands of people started coming to our spot to have a look at our heroine. A stage came where we had to seek police help to continue shooting says director Amudhan who had worked as an associate cameraman for Thankar Pacchan for 12 films. Apart from wielding the megaphone he has also done the story, screenplay and cinematography.

In the last 12 years no film unit has shot in Srinagar and Gulmarg locales. We were the first film unit in forty years to shoot in Shalimar Gardens. We had all security. Life is normal in the valley but we can feel the fear in their eyes, said producer John and Graham.

Like wise even in Mahabhalipuram, we shot in locations where 28 years back a film Vaa Raja Vaa had shot, said the producers. It’s a love story which says that relationship is as important as life, says Amuthan about the film. Bharani is making his debut as villain. Natarajan, Karunas, Illavarasu are the other artistes. We did not go in for a big muhurath or publicity because it does not serve any purpose opines the director.
