Amayakudu produced by M Balamurugan, Anil. S.Nair and Sudharsan under the Octagon Movies banner and directed by Bharati Ganesh has Krishnudu and Ananya in lead roles. Manikanta Khadri has composed the tunes for the film and newcomer Umashankar handles the camera and Ghatikachalam has penned the dialogues. The film’s story is a family oriented theme and is inspired by Krishnudu's earlier hit film Vinayakudu. The cast also includes Alekhya Rao, Rao Ramesh, Melkote, Amith, Jhasper, Meka Ramakrishna and Padma Jayanti.
