Shakeela's hideout to smoke
|
Shakeela is chain smoker. She found that her co-stars in sets were uncomfortable with her smoking. The next day she hired an a/c caravan for a price of Rs. 6000/- a day and attended the shooting. The producer did not understand why she needed a caravan. Later only they realised she used the caravan to have free smoke and nobody was disturbed by it. This took place during the shooting of Sreeramachandrulu. The caravan's bill was footed the actress herself.

Sharat Babu joins BJP
|
The BJP bandwagon seems to be swelling by the day with stars. Sharat Babu was formally inducted into the party by BJP state president Indrasena Reddy, union minister of state Krishnam Raju and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president Kishen Reddy.
Speaking to reporters Sharat Babu said that he joined the BJP mainly due to its leadership. He compared the BJP led NDA government's rule at the centre to the golden era of the Gupta regime. Sharat Babu's supporters also joined the party along with him.

Sanghavi-secret marriage with Suresh Varma?

Sexy star Sanghavi got married to Suresh Varma on October 15th according to sources. The venue was kept a secret since the actress wants to continue in films and her marital status will affect it.
Suresh Varma director of Shivaiah , Subbu and recently Shambu met Sanghavi during the making of the film Shivaiah, Sanghavi and Suresh fell in love with each other. Sanghavi, at present, has no films on hands except a few guest roles.

Rakshitha made her debut in Idiot and signed half a dozen big banners. She starred opposite heroes like Nagarjuna and NTR Jr. With the debacle of Andhrawala now Rakshitha is considered unlucky. Rakshitha blames the failure of Andhrawala on the over expectation by the audience. “Who says I am out? Rajamouli after the success of Student No 1 and Simhadri is the most sought director. He has signed ten films in a row. He is busy finalizing the stories for the same. He believes that a right story and script will give a good film. The director feels that Raghavendra Rao did not do him any favors by giving him a break in Student No 1 as director. “ I worked for his TV serial and he saw my potential. It was only a good business decision,” says Rajamouli. His favorite actor is Nagarjuna with whom he wishes to work. He has no thought for the critics who say that his film has no storyline. “ I am here to please the masses and the people who invest in my film” is the statement by Rajamouli who will soon turn producer. He is now embarking on a month long training course for Nitin and crew of his next film.

Singamalai is the character of NTR in Simhadri. After the films success everybody identifies the name with NTR. Now producers of English film Bloodstone in which Tamil Super Star Rajnikant acted in 1986 and Ilaya Raja was the music director have dubbed it into Telugu as Singamalai. Gulshan Grover replaces Prakash Raj ?

Prakash Raj has been sent out of Andhrawala and now he has been sacked from Pawan Kalyan’s film under the Anjana Production banner for reporting late. Pawan Kalyan was kept waiting till 4PM one day. The next day Prakash Raj said that his dates for the day were with another producer and he couldn’t attend shooting. So the unit manager called up that producer and adjusted Prakash Raj’s dates for the day. But still he did not report for Pawan's film and went to act elsewhere. Pawan Kalyan asked his brother, the producer - Nagendra Babu to replace Prakash Raj with another artiste. Pawan is also filing damages for the studio rental, artiste dates, and other costs that were wasted during the two days. The industry is surprised since Prakash Raj is with Chiru and his camp .The actor earlier roughed up a junior artiste early this year, and last year the MAA Council for taking advance from a producer and not working and also not returning the advance. Sources say that Gulshan Grover will be the villian in Pawan's film.
