The latest buzz flowing around is that actress Aishwarya Rai will very soon be seen in an onscreen lip lock with close co-star Vivek Oberoi. Now this one does comes in as a surprise as recently the international agents of the actress had reported that the former Miss World had reservations in shooting for some revealing scenes as a matter of which she did not sign some Hollywood projects.
But if the buzz is to be believed the upcoming romance flick Kyun? Ho Gaya Na directed by Sameer Karnik has a passionate smooch (we are not talking of kiss) wherein Aishwarya and Vivek repeatedly indulged in the act until the final shot was okayed. The viewers will surely be waiting with bated breadth for this one.
And that's not all. Rumor is running that Aishwarya may have similar scenes opposite Martin Henderson in Gurinder Chadha's Bride And Prejudice.

Suresh Oberoi to direct Vivek – Ash?

The grapevine is abuzz with the rumours that Suresh Oberoi is all set to don a new robe. Perhaps taking a cue from his peers, who turned to film production and direction subsequently, it is learnt that Oberoi Sr. is planning to start a film with son Vivek Oberoi and 'good friend' Aishwarya Rai essaying principal roles.
Though Oberoi Sr. has been maintaining a low profile of late, he did make it a point to issue a clarification on this development. “I've taken a 3-year break from work,” he enlightens; “I want to enjoy my golf before I return to the studios.” So what happens to the film production and direction plans? “Believe me, there've been offers aplenty to start a film. People have approached me time and again to take the plunge; they're ready to back the project financially. But I don't have the temperament to either produce or direct a film,” he clarifies. The actor, who left an impression with his very first film Ek Baar Phir [with Deepti Naval; 1980], is also taking it easy on the acting front.

While he has to start work on AB Corp's much talked about multistarrer Ranveer, he also has plans to work on period films like Mahabharat and Prithiviraj Samyukta . The latest buzz is that Santoshi will be making another period film on the life of the Maratha Emperor Shivaji to be produced by Smita Thackeray. Though several Marathi films and plays have been made on Shivaji, a Hindi film on the Maratha king hasn't been made in many years. The last notable film made on Shivaji was Chhatrapati Shivaji starring Prithiviraj Kapoor made way back in 1952.
Also there is buzz that the Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah are being considered to play the role of Shivaji's opponent - the Mughal king Aurangzeb. As for the role of Shivaji himself, there is a strong possibility that Santoshi might rope in his favorite actor Ajay Devgan.

Firoz A. Nadiadwala who produced the comedy Hera-Pheri was going to have the same cast for its sequel Aur Hera-Pheri. Now the grapevine says that Tabu who was the lead in Hera-Pheri is replaced by Lara Dutta in its sequel. The producer has not confirmed this news. Efforts are on to sign Satish Kaushik to direct the sequel because Priyadarshan is busy with his new hindi movie.

Hindi cinema audiences, which once went into spasms because Aamir Khan kissed Karishma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani now have accepted the trend and maybe even counted the seventeen kisses in Khwahish. If Bipasha Basu made Jism a statement of her sexuality, Mallika Sherawat was the star attraction in Khwahish. Now Boom has done one better. Simply put, it has the longest kiss in a Hindi film. In the Kaizad Gustad's film, Madhu Sapre and Jackie Shroff are the protagonists. Madhu Sapre was quoted as saying that professionalism was the core factor and that she felt comfortable doing it. Boom is slated for release on September 19th.

When Ash came after a month long shooting of Bride and Prejudice to the sets of Kyon Ho gaya Naa, she gave a cold shoulder to her co-actor Vivek who had high expectations.
