Never read the book says Jude Law

The charming Sherlock Holmes co-star Jude Law has admitted that he has never given a try to read the Sherlock Holmes novel penned by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Jude Law who plays the character Dr. Watson who is a friend and partner of detective Holmes in the last two movie edition of the novel. Law said, he never read the books until he played Dr. Watson, rather he attended pre-filming workshops at Robert Downey Jr's house which really helped him in understanding the character during the first film.

The chemistry between Holmes and Watson along with the intriguing screenplay by Guy Ritchie did the trick. A Game of Shadows released on 30th December 2011 in India.
